We’re going to need bigger business cards….

One of Cadogans Senior Management team, Gerry Brannigan, Executive Director, has now added another set of letters to his (and cadogans) list of qualifications.  He has recently been awarded Member status of the Society of Public Health Engineering (SoPHE), recognising his experience and knowledge in the field of Public Health Engineering.

Gerry’s new signature now becomes, Gerry Brannigan BEng(Hons) CEng MCIBSE MASHRAE MSoPHE.

However, Gerry has still some way to match David McIntyre’s set who has an incredible 10 qualifications, which means his signature is:
Eurlng David McIntyre BSc MSc MBA LLM CEng FIMechE SFIIRSM MNucI MCIArb.

With other members of the team currently committing to additional training and gaining of professional qualifications we aim to make Cadogans one of the most qualified sources of Expert Witness Services available to our clients around the world.

We actively encourage our team to undertake additional training, become members of professional organisations and gain professional qualifications.

From graduate, post-graduate degrees, doctorates and diplomas our team are constantly developing and then gaining professional memberships in various organisations (see our large list below).

Many of the team are also registered on the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, the Law Society Directory of Expert Witnesses among others.

To discuss any potential appointments relating to expert witness or specialist client advisory services relating to buildings and property (including mechanical and electrical building services, public health engineering, lift engineering or any other construction and property specialisms) please do not hesitate to contact Gerry Brannigan on 0141 270 7060 or email g.brannigan@cadogans.com.

The Acquisition of Cadogans by Hill

We are delighted to announce that Cadogans has been acquired by Hill International’s world-renowned construction claims group. Cadogans’ expert engineers have worked successfully with Hill’s delay, quantum and programming experts on many construction disputes in the past.  This tie-up is a natural progression and will allow the combined group to offer a complete service to Clients.

With access to Hill’s global network of offices and Hill’s Client base, it is expected that Cadogans will be able to expand its expert engineering resources both in number of personnel and range of disciplines. Cadogans’ existing senior management team, Roddy Wilkie, David McIntyre and Gerry Brannigan, will continue to lead and develop the company. There will be no job losses and the same staff will continue to provide the same high quality service to existing and future Clients in both expert technical opinion services and project services.
